Small June gathering (28 June 2011)

It's June and most of us are having our long breaks from colleges and uni but we only had a small gathering as everyone is busy with their respective business..some doing intern, some working part time, some still in uni for some extra activities and some's sem break has not started.

Although only a small crowd appear, we still managed to have a good time particularly when "digging" at each other's love life...About what we managed to dig...it's a secret reserving for only those who had attended the gathering..haha

So we actually planned to meet at the Gurney hawker centre but then later moved the meeting venue into Gurney Plaza's Max Gourmet. Chuck who just came back from Hawaii and US under a student exchange programme, brought us chocolates as souvenir. One missing cause eaten by Mu Xin already..haha And if you noticed, there's only 6 pieces, I told him if there's more than 6 people attending there won't be enough already..but Chuck says first come first serve...haha Lucky for him only 5 came that day so there's leftover somemore.

While the waitress is taking the pic for us another waitress looks on and kept commenting that Chuck did not smile properly...haha so we took a few more shots but alas Chuck still refused to smile properly...see his fake smile in this pic..haha

After dinner at Max Gourmet, we went to Starbucks where our digging session begin till we dispersed at around 11.30pm. Hope we can have another gathering with more of our old friends before our new term starts in Sept!

CNY 2011

It's CNY and it's time for gathering..but this time just a small one as everyone's break is kinda short so this year...only me, Keong, Chuck, Boon Ciat, Cheah Yeem and Hooi Ling joined.

We started off at Hooi Ling's house but the number kept decreasing and by the time we reach my house which is the last stop, only me,keong and chuck are left! Though just a few of us, we still managed to have lots of fun!

At Hooi Ling's house, we are served with a variety of CNY cookies some baked by her mom...we then had a session of card game and chatting before leaving for lunch. Hooi Ling did not follow us along as we go on our visiting.

After lunch, we went to Chuck's house next..again, we were served with CNY cookies....then Chuck show us around his house. He was very proud with his house's CNY decorations done by his dad.

Next stop is Cheah Yeem's house! She introduced us to her dog Whisky whom she loves so much and treats like her own son..haha We played MONOPOLY at Cheah Yeem's house..something we all had not played for a really long time! Cheah Yeem's monopoly uses credit card instead of paper money so it's so much more convenient to play...compared to the paper money one. The game lasted for two to three hours!

I'm the millionaire at the end of the game with 54 810 million..hahaha

Fourth is Boon Ciat with 6 100 million

Last one is Cheah Yeem... bankrupt before the end of the game hehe..

Next stop is Keong's house...but we forgot to take any pics there cause we were rushing to go up to Boon Ciat's house before the sky gets dark..No activities too as Keong was busy taking out his camera and Chuck was busy on his phone almost the whole time at there...zzz...he only stops when we were leaving and surprisingly he can still remember that he forgot to take his ang pou! hahaha

After that we go to Boon Ciat's house..Over there we went to his house to his pargreetents awhile then after that go out to the beach to snap some pics.

After that, Boon Ciat took us to visit the fishing pond which Chuck misheard as porn! haha

We had dinner at Gertak Sanggul before heading to my house.

No pics were taken at my house too as it is kinda late already and only Chuck and Keong came..we just had short chat for awhile then we ended our gathering..till we meet again =)

Gathering by the Sea (29 Dec 2010)

The venue for this gathering is at Northam Beach cafe and Straits Quay...all by the seaside! We gathered at Northam Beach cafe for dinner at around 6pm. Those who came were Hooi Fong, Chuck Chuan, Mu Xin, Fen Zi, Choon Ling, Cheah Yeem, Xandria, Boon Ciat, Keong and me. 10 of us..more than half of U6SC1! It is quite a success to gather so many ppl..credits to me and Hooi Fong...the organisers of this gathering...hahaha But too bad Hooi Ling dont get to join us as her uni semester had started. Some of us did not meet each other like since we graduated from MBS....but we had not changed much. We all still looked pretty much the same. Chuck and Cheah Yeem still as noisy as ever...haha

After dinner, we took some pics at Northam Beach cafe while waiting for the two late comers...Cheah Yeem and Boon Ciat to arrive.

Unfortunately, Fen Zi and Xandria had to leave early so were not able to join us at Straits Quay.

Before leaving Northam, we took pics outside the cafe in front of a flower float. The float was one of the contestant in the Penang Ching gay event and won some placing but I dont remember what placing d..haha

After that, we headed to Straits Quay. We reached there quite late...I think around 8pm+ already. The main aim of going there is to have a photography session...so we started taking pics. Keong brought along his Nikon DSLR to take pics for us. We took lots of pics over there as the environment and scenery is nice.

After awhile, Cheah Yeem is hungry, so she went with almost the whole gang to Subways to get something to eat. Only me, Keong and Boon Ciat did not go to Subways. The three of us continued taking pic when Keong suddenly remember that he left his camera bag at the spot we took pics with the light house! That was one panicking moment! Luckily the bag was still there when we went back and nothing was missing from the bag. Phew~

When the gang from Subways returned, we went indoor and found a spot with benches to wait for Cheah Yeem and Hooi Fong to finish their sandwich. We took more pics while waiting there and even had an opportunity to 'kill' Cheah Yeem...hahaha Joking...she's is still pretty much alive and kicking now.

After that, we went to take pics at the main entrance and the Candy land. That area is called Candy Land as there were a lots of fake candies and chocolates over there.

We all dismissed at around 10.30pm. By then, everyone is already tired of posing for the camera but the photographer is still very much active although he needs to carry the heavy camera and tripod around. Credits to Keong for being the photographer of the day...hehehe See you all again next holiday!

Crazy gathering with friends from MBS (8 September 2010)

Its Raya break..and time for gathering again as most ppl r back from their respective uni for 2 weeks! This time we had our gathering at Farlim in a cafe called Sugar Baby. Those attended this gathering were Chuck, Hooi Ling, Hooi Fong, Su Ling, Hooi Peng and me! Keong joined us only for dinner at Kuta Bali before the gathering starts as he had meeting at his college that night. Our gathering at Sugar Baby starts at 8pm although it was supposed to start at 7pm..haha everyone had a reason to be late (except Hooi Ling) so in the end the gathering becomes at 8pm!

This gathering i must say is one of our craziest! I feel Hooi Ling is a bit diff during this gathering...she talks more n is always attacking ppl..especially chuck haha poor him! The guy who took our order at the cafe is also weird and funny...his statements keep contradicting..lol First, he says that it was his first time taking order and earlier he works in the kitchen so that is y he takes order so slowly! Then when Su ling asks for the wifi's password, he says he dunno cos it's his first day at work! Thirdly when he serves Hiew2 her drink, he told Hiew that it was his first time doing drinks! Lol...dunno which one is true also..

We had fun interviewing chuck about his love life..lol but I think he x have so much fun interviewing us back on ours...haha We laughed a lot n said many crazy things during this gathering...after all those crazy moments, we had photo taking time...the guy who took our orders volunteered to take group pics for us.

After taking pics, we decided to go over to the pasar malam to walk..Girls gt 50% discount on weds...so everyone gets to pay half price except for chuck..haha After paying, we walk to pasar malam and had supper there before going home. Short but nice gathering..see u guys next gathering!

Another gathering~2 June 2010

It's hols time again! Long hols for all of us now...so we had a chance to have another gathering. But sadly only 6 of us can join...the others Chuck x come back from uni because of camp, Cheah yeem working, Danny, Kausalya and Fen Zi x having their hols yet. Anyhow we still had a good time just that without chuck here, everyone's a bit too quiet haha! So Keong took over Chuck's work to make evryone talk..Lol.

We went first to Sunset Bistro at Batu Ferringhi then to Gurney Plaza. Sunset Bistro is a small bistro on the beach with a sunset view. We reached there at around 6.30pm so we ordered some stuffs to eat and drink while waiting for the sun to set. The waitress at Sunset Bistro kinda scared that we might run away after eating without paying so she quickly brought the bill to our table right after we finish eating! And we all don't really like her attitude also..she got a sour look on her face whenever she attend to us and the group pic she took for us...Hooi Ling's head only appear half in the pic! hahaha!

The pizza we ordered there..it's very cheesy and the pizza looks like got nothing else except for cheese as toppings haha!

After dinner, we went for a movie ~ Shrek! The movie was nice and very funny but I did not enjoy it because we watched 3D and I wasn't comfortable wearing the 3D glasses. The glasses is too loose and the screens of the glasses are too small so i can't see the whole picture in 3D some areas not covered by the glasses are blur! And the movie costs rm 16! So lesson learnt...Im not goin to watch 3D again in GSC..it's lousy hehe

After the movie its around 11.30pm already so we all departed to go home...hope we will have another gathering soon to meet those who are absent this outing!
