End of the year hols gathering 2 - (22/12/2009)

We managed to plan another gathering before everyone goes back to their respective universities. It's a small one and at first we planned to call only those living around Farlim area as we are having the gathering at a new food court at Paya Terubong....however, Hooi Ling managed to get Hooi Fong here as well. So in the end there were 6 of us- Hooi Ling, Lee Chong, Chuck Chuan, Kausalya, Hooi Fong and me. We just have dinner together, chat and took some pics as a few of us need to go home early that night.

We left at around 9.30pm. Before leaving we say wanna meet again during Chinese New Year and hopefully it would be successful. Oh ya our hut number that night was H11 haha!

End of the year hols gathering - (30/11/2009)

I did not went for this gathering cause my grandmother was admitted into the hospital on the morning of this gathering. Anyway its a really small one as only four people turn up- Chuck Chuan, Hooi Ling, Hooi Fong and Mu Xin. The venue of the gathering is at Little Cottage 2 at Gotllieb Road.

Hari Raya Hols gathering - (22/9/09)

We (Hooi Ling, Cheah Yeem, Hooi Fong, Choon Ling, Mu Xin, Boon Ciat, Chuck Chuan, Keong and me) had a small gathering today at E-gate Starbucks. It has been a long time since we all get together...so it's nice that we managed to have a gathering today although it is just a small one. We did not do anything special..just catch up with each other on what we did these few months.

After the gathering at Starbucks, we went to Chuck's new house. We had some homemade mooncakes over there baked by Chuck's sis. Chuck showed us around his new house. His dog, Yoyo looked cuter and bigger hehe..and like not so crazy like last time..haha too bad I forgot to take a pic of Yoyo.. After visiting Chuck's new house, we went out to dinner at Taman Free School's hawker centre but Chuck did not join us cause his stomach is not feeling well. After dinner, we went to the garden opposite the hawker centre to chat again..Chuck came to join us for awhile after we had finished our dinner. It has been a short but memorable gathering. Hopefully, we will be able to have more gatherings end of the year and more would be able to attend..keep in touch guys!

Separate lives...

It's been a long time since my last post...I dunno what to write anymore since we had all gone separate ways...BUT Im happy that we still managed to keep in touch with each other...I missed those days we had in MBS..althought it is just a short period of one and a half years, I believe the bond of friendship between us will last a lifetime.

I'll just briefly write out what all of us are into now..but not all cause I haven't contacted some for quite a long time already..

I'll start with Boon Ciat..he's doing law at ATC Penang and I'm his classmate once again! Roshun is also doing law at ATC but he's at another class...however we will be classmates again soon when our class emerge maybe at the end of this year.

Danny, he's working at Sunshine Farlim now and would be going to further his studies at UTAR, Petaling Jaya next year.

Jessica..I have lost contact of her..

Kausalya, I heard that she's studying at KL but Im unsure of what course and which college or uni.

Chuck...the only student in our class who managed to get into UM..haha

Saundra, she's also in KL but again Im unsure of what and where she's studying..I think Chuky might know.

Saravana...our beloved class monitor..I have lost contact with him too..again Chuck might know I think..

Choon Ling's in UniMAP doing Biomedical Engineering..

Cheah Yeem is currently working at Midlands..and she will be continuing her studies next year too but I think she is unsure of where to further her studies yet..keke

Fen Zi is already at UTAR taking what Danny is going to take up next year..

Hooi Fong is at UMP studying Software engineering I think..hehe

Hooi Ling got into USM Penang for Interpretation and Translation..lucky her..hehe

Keong is starting his Business degree at KDU end of September..

Mu Xin is in Johor..I forgot what the name of the university in Johor d hehe

Class gathering - ship cruise (27/4/2009)

Today I went for a ship cruise with my form six ex-classmates. There were 8 of us-Hooi Fong,Boon Ciat,Mu Xin,Chuck Chuan,Hooi Ling,Lee Chong, Keong and me! Keong came to fetch me at 8.30am and we reached Hooi Ling's carpark at around 8.45am but she was not not ready yet!! In fact, she just woke up and is bathing! So me,Keong and Boon Ciat have to go up to her house to wait! The rest also came quite late although we were all supposed to go meet at Hooi Ling's carpark at8.30am except for Chuck Chuan who was the first to reach but went to the bank after that.

Hooi Fong,Mu Xin and Lee Chong reached at 9 something and the latest is Chuky because he went to the bank before coming to Hooi Ling's house. After that we went in two cars...Boon Ciat,Keong and I sat Lee Chong's car while Chuck Chuan and Mu Xin sat Hooi Fong's car. We reached jetty at around 10.15am. We bought the tickets and waited awhile for the smaller ferry to come take us out to the big ship. We had to go through a security check where they scan our body with a device...and also checked our bags and pockets. 

Moving into the smaller ferry..Most of the people going are uncles and aunties! I think we are the only group of young people there!

After reaching the ship, we have to surrender our identification card! Then we went to explore around the ship..it's not really big..cause keep walking back to the same place only! At that time, the gambling machines and the casinos were not on yet as we are still in Malaysian waters..we had to get into the international waters before the gambling can start. Howvever there are already people occupying the machines as if booking it...maybe it's their favourite or lucky machine..haha At 11am, the restaurant is open for lunch! When my friends and I entered it was already crowded with people so we had to sit separately as there were not enough places! I sat with Keong,Boon Ciat,and Chuck Chuan while Mu Xin,Hooi Fong,Hooi Ling and Lee chong sat together. It was a buffet but not much choices of food for me! In the end I jus ate rice and vege and cakes! I ate more cakes than rice..haha no appetite and I actually felt a bit sea-sick cause at that time the ship just started moving so it moves kinda fast! The crowd cleared very fast when the casino opens!

After our lunch, we went to visit the casino. The security stopped me from going in because Im holding a file but luckily another friendlier security called Andy let us in after the first security walk away! haha..Hooi Fong went to try her luck on the gambling machine and she won Rm 18! It was quite dizzy being in the casino...got thick ciggarette smell and also the ship moving...not comfortable at all but the gamblers can go on gambling in there for the whole day!! After visiting the casino, we went to the upper deck to snap pics and we snap a lot a lot of pics!!

After taking pics, we went back into the casino to have some drinks...then we went to the upper floor where there were only gambling machines. Keong took out Rm5 for me to play. We played at the penguin machine and we won! haha...we played rm5 but got back rm11! Then I try my luck on a different machine but I loose..sob sob..then Keong use the money he won to play again and we won again! Chucky and Hooi Fong played too and they lose I think but Boon Ciat won.he won rm 25 if I'm not mistaken.

After dinner, we went to the upper deck hoping to catch a glimpse of sunset but too bad then sun was hidden behind the hills when it was setting..

At around 7.30pm, we sat the ferry back to the jetty. It was a nice gathering...hopefully we can have somemore gatherings in years to come! 

I created this blog to keep the memories of sixth form in MBS. It was indeed one of my best schooling experience and I believe it was too to my classmates of Lower six Science 1 and Upper Six Science 1! 

Orientation Week

Orientation week! Guys still remember this moment?? When Pn Wong came in to teach us how to sing the MBS school song! When we practiced singing, I could hear the lyrics of the school song being changed from "Come and sing a rousing song" to "Come and sing a lousy song" by some group of people..lol
