My group members and i doing the line transect experiment in school!
Penang hill trip to collect insects samples.
For my group, Hooi ling, Hooi Fong,Boon Ciat and I were present.
We went there with another group which consists of Keong, Saundra, Choon Ling and FenZi!
We did collect some insects there and had some fun too!
We went to the canopy walk which is 2km from the Penang Hill station. We walked there and walked back..a lot of walking on that day!
And the bad thing is when we were leaving Penang Hill, there was an electricity failure! The whole Penang was out of electricity that day and so we had to jump off the train and walk down beside the train tracks! What an experience!
At Botanical Gardens
Hooi Ling,Boon Ciat and I went to the Botanical Gardens to collect insects samples for our bio project. We hike a bit up Moon Gate and found some really huge ants there. There were many butterflies too but they were too fast for us to catch! However we managed to catch some water striders, red dragonflies and a really fierce hornet that day! After our tiring catch,we went to the waterfall to play water. At first I was reluctant to get down but Boon Ciat make me go down by threatening to throw my shoes into the water...here's the proof of him holding my shoes with an evil smile...hehe
